Doesn't work like that. Alleviate driver concerns first. If fail, whole plan fail.
my second slot just isn't working.. after moving the ATI card to the first one.. even catalyst control center works
I'm really lost.. what should I look for in BIOS? I don't think my BIOS has an option for display things.. except to enable PnP to be taken care of by the OS; and besides this was all working in XP
I found something. There is "INitiate Graphic Adapater" I can choose PEG/PCI (currently) or PCI/PEG
I tried the inf mod, driver loads and after reboot BSOD. Has anyone resolved this problem yet? I am tempted to go back to Vista....
I made the change to CL_83742.inf, in the following path C:\ATI\Support\9-10_vista32_win7_32_dd_ccc_wdm_enu\Driver\Packages\Drivers\Display\W7_INF
I added the following entry:
"ATI Radeon HD 4650 AGP" = ati2mtag_R7X, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9495
below all the other ATI Radeon HD 4650 lines
I selected that file and installed the driver. It gave me the warning I selected install anyway and it reported being successful. I reboot and got BSOD. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Which motherboard? Are all other devices in device manager working well with installed drivers and no yellow !
I have a ATI Radeon HD3850 Video card, but I cannot get the drivers to install properly. I saw that you created a new .inf file for other people and I was wondering if you could do the same for me. I am running windows 7
