Screen flickering/glitching - Aero not supported?

    so im wondering if doing a repair install may fix it? if i do a repair install, will i have to re-install all my programs and re-update windows?

    well, i could not do the repair install because it said "the version you are trying to install is ....blah blah" i dont remember. but basically it told me my current version of windows is more recent than the one i was trying to repair with and it wouldnt let me go further.

    so i went ahead and re-installed windows anyways, a full, clean re-install.

    the screen glitching is still happening. its driving me crazy!

    Then it is a 'mechanical' problem possibly with the pad.

    not sure what you mean by "pad"? has something happened to my graphics card? should i try a new DVI cable to the monitor?
