    Hi aminuddin!

You need to provide me the motherboard name and model.

Otherwise, you can go into the BIOS and look for an option to increase shared memory.

Look for something with the option DVMT. and set it to "Maximum DVMT" if available or just "DVMT".

    That should help you.
    Cheers!

P.S: Intel GMA sukz! you have to get a dedicated graphics card if you wanna play games.

Yes but as you can see here:

Theres so many models for compaq presario cq40 notebook pc. So, which one is yours?
Look below your laptop. There must be a white sticker with the complete model name.

And besides, their manual does not mention enough information about BIOS and its options.

The manual can be found here:
Compaq Presario CQ40 Notebook PC Service Manual

So, finally, you will have to manually tell us the BIOS options so that we can help you!

I'm sorry it has to be this way, but it can't be helped.

    Cheers!

To increase the shared memory you can go in to the BIOS advanced chipset options and change shared graphics shared memory to 512MB or how high you want it to go.

Hate to say it but all things considering, increasing the amount of shared ram isn't going to help,

Notebookcheck: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD (GMA X4500MHD)

    The number you mention here,

I have a graphics card specification is: 797MB
will not help in any way as it is not physical memory but virtualized memory (sort of like a pagefile for video),

IT does not matter. Intel chipsets have been dynamic lately. My buddy has a series 4 and its dynamic too. In the bios it shows like, 8mb, and then it shows the max it can use depending on ram. The odds are his are dynamic too.
