......well then. My card has 1 dvi, 1 hdmi and 1 dp.

    Some adaptors work, some don't

I called AMD and they said the same thing i found out online.

you need 1 native (DP) and 2 Legacy (HDMI or DVI) for the 3 screens to work.

    very stupid i say.

So that is why i am testing this DP to VGA that my friend uses to see if it will work with my 7700 series.
I hope it works out for you

The card in the picture your card should look like that i don't know why AMD does things like this
that pictures is nothing like my card.
like i said, only 1 DVI 1 HDMI and 1 DP.

I got great news! The adapter showed up and it worked!

Take a look (don't mind the desk mess, going through boxes of junk or my cluster of PC cables)

it even works flawlessly with Eyefinity

So if anyone is needing the adaptor, here it is.

Displayport DP Display Port Male TO VGA Female Cnog Converter Adapter HOT Sale | eBay

There are others out there but make sure it has the black port part and the button on the DP size. I am unsure that the others one work but I bought a few of them to test.

Not bad for under 10 bucks.
