290 - gtx780
290x - titan.
i was just going with overall models lol, that is in terms of reference cards, but in my own personal opinion, never buy a reference card.
I persist in my mention of the HD7750. Note its MIDDLE position in that performance list, and also the modest price.
Plus, it comes in both full-size and low-profile (with both low-profile and full-size brackets included in the box) versions.
Plus it is single-card wide, only using a single expansion slot and not requiring two adjacent slots (for added cooling or to house additional connector ports).
Plus, it uses considerably less electricity than higher-performing cards above it, BUT YOU DON'T NEED THAT SUPER-HIGH PERFORMANCE FROM THOSE OTHER CARDS FOR YOUR NEEDS!!
1)MSI N650TI-1GD5/V1 GeForce GTX 650 Ti 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready Video Card
2)GIGABYTE GV-R726XOC-1GD Radeon R7 260X 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready Video Card
Both about the same price. Number two is 'butt ugly', but that aside; 'ennie, meenie, minie, moe' ?
