    I've attached that picture. Just noticed my D drive is almost 50% fragmented. I'll defrag it to see if that helps any applications.

    Thanks, I was checking to see if the boot sector was in the right place, it is fine.
    w7 handles fragmentation a lot better than earlier Windows, so I doubt it will help. Let us know.

    this always happens to me when i play games or alt tab out of games. just ignore it. you are fine.

I get this error from time to time, especially when i game and alt+tab: "Windows has detected your computers performance is slow" And even worse, sometimes i get a popup telling me that the colors was switched back to windows default, so i get a nasty skin without Aero I don't understand...

i keep getting the message above? when i know the pc isnt? its working with 6GB and still has another 10GB which isnt being used? what could cause this? i have freshly installed windows again but still with the same issue..... any ideas.... :sick:

I started getting a message saying windows has detected my performance is slow and then asks to change my color scheme
Hi There! I have an I7 920 Processor PC running at 3.6Ghz. I recently upgraded to a ATI HD5970 2GB graphics card, and despite this, every few hours/days I get errors on my desktop about how windows has adjusted my colour scheme to basic because of performance. I am running the latest drivers...
