    Adding a monitor

I have a Windows 7 HP Processor from 2011, and a 2007-era HP w1907 monitor. So I got a new 23" HP LV2311 monitor, plugged it in, runs fine. Can I take an HDI cable, plug it into the back of the 23"...and the connect it to the back of the 19" so I can still use it as a second screen? So in effect, the 19" is piggybacked onto the 23"?

    Hi,
The hdmi on both monitors are Inputs so they would need to connect to the computer and not each other,
Same goes to the other possible connections vga or dvi both would go to only one monitor depending on your video card on the computer,
Use the link above my signature to fill in your system spec's sheet to better help you,
    Cheers.

Just connect the 2 monitors to your video card.

Or the motherboard if you don`t have a card.
