NVIDIA Display Problems / Crash
My computer had been working normally all day until I noticed it had crashed and restarted itself when I had been listening to music. When it restarted my computer screen was split in half, from top to bottom and showing a black line down the middle. I see two of everything, two pointers, logos basically a reflection between the split screens. My laptop uses NVIDIA display drivers or I'm pretty sure this issue is related to that. When I click NVIDIA in the settings it says I'm not using NVIDIA but some type of attatchment for gpu. I am completely clueless right now with what to do or where to starr. NVIDIA is not cooperating and I'm not sure what driver I need to install or what I need to fix. This past week my notification bar has sent me an important message installing a graphic card but when Iick on the link it gives, it doesn't show me what to download. My computer is able to reach the internet and open programs but the screen is so messed up. What do I do, whete do I start? Im clueless.
I have an HP PAVILION DV9500, it was previously on Windows Vista but runs on Windows 7 now. I can provide any other information if needed
