    Error VGA AMD Radeon 6400M Series


    i want to update my AMD driver, using auto identification
    when the catalyst downloader finish and system prompted to choose location to install this message appear
    can anyone help me

    try downloading drivers from AMD website manually, without using the auto-identification app.

    i want updating it via control panel, but in searching for online software box appear. it keep searching even my speed touching 1 mbps not like before

    IF you are using a notebook or laptop, I would first go to the notebook/laptop suppliers page and look there for drivers. They often customize drivers and forcing an installation of the drivers from the AMD site is likely NOT to work.

    AMD Catalyst 14.2 Beta Driver for Windows

    This is the latest driver for your gpu, Always use the Drivers from the company who make the gpu..not the laptop manufacturer as they are often outdated

    as they are often outdated
    True ... but newer is not always better, especially with newer machine that can have different kinds of switchable/hybrid graphics.

    I have switchable graphics, amd's drivers work perfectly for me, a lot of people who experience lesser performance usually don't do a clean install, i'm not saying its the case 100% as im sure in SOME cases its the other way around, but 9/10 amd's drivers for their own hardware are usually the best bet, especially if the gpu/s are current/high spec and wish to see improvements in current games.
