Pink screens, white screens, odd colors amd x1300 pro

I had a better card in the PC and was running the AMD catalyst drivers.
I took that card out and put in the x1300.

Several times noticed some weird effects.
Then today I powered down cause it was pink, and it refused to turn on the screen.
So I let it sit and it is working again.

I did not uninstall catalyst AMD drivers, is that a problem? the x1300 is not a supported video card.

If it is a problem, then are the AMD drivers destroying the card? (terminating the old technology to make you get new technology)

Hi there .. It is more than likely the Card you Installed is faulty .. When you Installed that Card Windows would try to find a Driver for it .. Its a pretty old Card i know there are some Vista Drivers available for it .. Not sure about 64 Bit Drivers though ..

It did not do that until I moved it around from various PCs.
I took it out and reinserted and so far it's working fine all day.

Would a weak PSU cause it?
The PSU only has 200 watts, and 12v is only 10amps, been working this way a long time, over a year.

About the dirvers, would a vista AMD driver work in win7 32 bit?
Do you have a link, thoughts?

Worked wonderful. That card was a HD 2600 pro.
I took it out to use in another PC for an HTPC running WMC.
I want to be able to watch live TV and 1080p

    Thanks, amazing that it exists.
Will try it and post back.

    It does not install.
No ccc, no driver, it must be branded to only work on IBM video cards.
Is there a way to spoof that with a mod inf??

pic shows the components and leaves out ccc and the driver

I found one win7 working driver.
    The card is visiontek branded.
Visiontek has a win7 driver for all x1000 series cards.

    It is installing.
Drivers | VisionTek ATI/AMD Radeon Graphics Partner

I really like visiontek, the HD 2600 pro is also visiontek.
At least visiontek still supports their old stuff.
