can someone PLEASE post this driver??! I have done nearly all the steps as above and still cannot get the driver to work. If windows update is finding the proper driver right away can someone please trace to the drivers - zipem up and postem? This would cure problems for alot of people - myself included and we'll finally have a solution.

I am not sure if a solution was posted yet, but I have a Radeon 6550 (just bought it and installed it, works fine) and ever since my Aero does not work. I have tried everything I have seen online, i re installed the drivers, ran the WEI, set my power options properly, but still nothing. It isnt even on the list of performance preferences and when I go into the personalization settings it gives me a weird window that looks like an old Windows XP option screen. Anyone got a solution?

    I am running Windows 7 64
    8G ram
    Radeon 6550 (not mobile)
    ATI 3.2 quad core

HELP!! Its annoying me having the windows basic theme lol
