I assume you've already right-clicked on desktop and selected "Screen Resolution."
You might have fiddled with the mouse.
Hold down Control and move mouse wheel down to decrease.
thaT DOESN'T WORK IT SAYS I CAN'T INCREASE MY RESOLUTION SO I THINK IT'S THE DRIVER
Invalid Intel MB model number.
Actually, something else tells me you didn't fill in the rest of your system specs.intel coorperation D84 GRG {X1}
Assuming you can't change the screen resolution any higher, then that means the video driver hasn't been installed for your motherboard. Or didn't provide the proper model number for their motherboard. In either case, you can still try to get the Latest Intel Chipset Device Software.

EV730 refers to the 17" Gateway CRT monitor. It supports up to 1280x1024 and a refresh rate up to 120 Hz. That isn't a graphics card.EV730[1024X768] @1HZ
You put 7 on very old hardware, I would go back to the old version of Windows you had.
1 gig of very slow RAM by today's standards is going to be a nightmare performance wise.
Those specs scream Windows XP.
