Thank you Bill. First post updated. :)
AMD sent me an email for their new drivers Omega...Despite the always weird uninstall and after cleaning leftover, it had install smoothly the Omega v14.501.1003.0 fine. :)
A new Era!
Updated to the latest release and BSOD with amdkmpfd.sys date 12-13-13. DDU can't remove: in use by another device. Registry has several instances of it tied to AHCI and an Intel South Bridge. Writing this on a 1080p 27" VGA - I would laugh...
Waiting to hear back from AMD.
There's a Beta hotfix that is out at AMD correcting HDMI Issue during the official v14.12 December 9, 2014.
They have not yet displayed the Link but found another site that have done it already.

Will replace the link to AMD when they got it managed.
Thank you NoN.
Here's the link at AMD. First post updated with more details. :)
AMD Catalyst
The latest drivers do not work for me. Extremely slow load time and other artifacts.
I did use the auto-detect at AMD. Do I need to do this for myself? Maybe it auto-detected incorrectly?
I updated another PC and it's working fine. Slightly different chipset/GPU.
I have the A6-3420M with integrated 6520G.
SOMEONE PLEASE SCHOOL ME. Do I need the CCC or can I get by with 'just' the drivers for graphics/chipset etc...?
The only place that laptop users should get their graphics drivers from is the laptop maker's website. I've read that often a driver provided by, in this instance, AMD, is heavily customized for each laptop by the maker. The downside to this is that too often, laptop makers stop certifying drivers after just a year or two. The newest drivers offered for your laptop for Win 7 are dated March 2012.
Whilst this is interesting, when I install 14.12, it complains that an install is already running and doesn't install the catalyst monitor so no adjustment is possible except through Windows. Of course the gaming installs and I don't care about that! I also have a green tinge that appears throughout any picture that is made full screen/panel. Looking at the picture, i.e., a VGA file in Windows file manager, everything looks just fine! Any thoughts? BTW. Tried a new video card, same problem. Tried a new Gigabyte GA-X79-UD5 MB, same problem.
