BIOS Screen issue

Recently Ive had an odd issue with the resolution on my BIOS screen.
It seems like he resolution is too small and cuts off some of the bios text when the computer starts up as I cant see the lower or left part of the screen.
I tried uninstalling and re-installing video card drivers but doesnt change anything.
I am using a Vizio 28" TV for my monitor and its set at 1600x1080 for resolution.
Is their a seperate setting for this?
My vid card is an XFX R7 260. Posting this from the office so dont have motherboard info or anything else if needed can post back late tonite after work with more info.

AMD Phenom x4
8GB Ram DDR2 1066

Any info or help would be great.

You'll probably find it's because you're using a TV. My daughters' rig has recently been hooked up to a 32" Samsung HD TV and when I first booted after installing an SSD in there I had to use Catalyst Control Center's overscan feature to bring the screen size down to fit the TV.
When I booted into BIOS however the overscan was still there, an equal amount around the entire screen. As CCC hasn't loaded yet in BIOS it isn't able to correct how the picture displays.

I recently bought a Lenovo Ideapad for my wife which came with windows 8 pre-installed on it. Anyways, I told...

PC skips BIOS splash screen and goes straight to login screen
Okay so lately I've noticed that my PC isn't displaying the BIOS splash screen anymore and skips straight to the Windows login screen. It didn't really bother me until today when I wanted to boot into Ubuntu and I couldn't select which OS I wanted to use. I'm pretty sure the problem isn't the...

Hi I'm getting a blank screen when my computer boots up. Not even a Bios screen or anything. But, Win 7 seems to boot up fine in the background. I can hear the welcome chime in the background after a little bit. I was in the process of putting in a new SSD when this happened. Tried to unplug it...

8800GT Driver issue? Or maybe its a bios issue.
Hi all. I'm not sure where to start with this issue, it's bit spread out but it all started while I was gaming and the game froze and then the computer crashed. The freezing happened every once in a while, but the crashing had never happened. During the restart I see...
