HELP Just installed W7 64bit and I get Blank Screen

When I enable my Nvidia geforce 9600 gso I cant get passed Windows 7 logo my screen goes blank very frustrating. I tried everything downloaded the new 191 drivers in safe mode uninstalled re installed etc then rebooted in regular mode and nothing. Please help. Is anyone else experiencing this too.

So now I have to disable nvidia graphics card in order to get into desktop and use the internet. This is where I am.

Everything worked on vista 32bit and I did a custom install with w7 64bit. I also used w7 compatability manager everything was ok, but had to do custom install.

Your precise model is not listed, but perhaps this will help.

I found the solution to the problem call Nvidia Tech in US at 1-408-486-2300. It was a problem with other Nvidia componets already installed. It had to uninstall and install the new drivers in safe mode eyc eyc call them they will help you like me. Now system is running good.

I know this is a silly question but is it possible you installed the 32-bit drivers by accident? I only ask because you did say you went from 32-bit Vista to 64-bit Win 7.

Well I dont think so, I went to there site and installed the correct drivers after w7 install. Still had black screen. Until the Nvidia Tech helped me. He almost could not fix it until we went again to sahe mode menu to low resolution and uninstalled Nvidia PhyX and stero mode. We manually had to install drivers cause windows likes to automatically install the latest, so we had to manually install drivers.
