I can't install new version of graphics driver

I can't install new version of graphics driver.
When I install driver, it asks me to restart my PC, when i restart it, my screen freezes and i can't see anything. Computer is working normally but screen isn't showing anything.
Then I use system restore to use old version of driver again, but I can't play games with old driver. When I try to play games, windows shuts down. It says: Windows has recovered an unexpected shutdown

this sounds more like a hardware fault than a driver issue. differences between drive versions is the difference between games playing and not playing.
And the fact that the new drivers wont install highlight this further.

download msi afterburner and kombuster and stress test your gpu, then download prime 95 and test your cpu and ram. if your getting consistent lockups with the tests im affraid its something that will cost you money!

You don't now have SP-1 installed on your system and you surly do want it installed. You need to run Windows Update and it might offer you a proper video card driver.

    From post #1

    OS Version: 6_1_7600
We also need your system specs filled in completely.

What driver are you using and what driver are you trying to install from where?

Are you using a graphics card or the motherboard graphics ?
