asus, AMD Radeon hd 7640g, Win 7 bad install

I have an asus x64 with 6 gig. It went wonky on me after 1½ years so I put Win 7 Enterprise on it. Win 7 did not pick up on the radeon video driver. I went to AMD and got the driver. It does fine about 2/3rds the way thru then give me a window saying 'Failed to install' with nothing else. I tried both the 32 and the 64 versions to no avail!

I have spent maybe 40 hours legit searching and trying. Asus is about as much help as dog poo and MS & AMD say it is Asus. Of course asus says it is them. Lots of people have plenty to offer for bucks without any guarantee I get anything from it so I am brimming with bad attitude here.

If anyone has anything positive to help here it would improve my day big time.

Asus X54C Asus OEM windows 7. They did not give me a restore disk with it. I had a note that said I could buy one if I needed it. That was a well over a year ago. (live and learn I guess. At my age one would think I had already learned!)

I did find your Model Number but it does not match your Specifications .. States it has an Intel GPU ...

If you have the Product Coa Key you could do a Clean Install .... Read the Link below it contains every thing you need including the ISO ....

Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

Maybe there are some letters or numbers missing for your Model ?
