Radeon HD7570 Not Detected - Can't install drivers

    Hi all.

I recently installed a Radeon HD 7570 GPU into my Dell Inspiron 660s and everything was going fine until I got around to installing the relevant drivers. I opened up Device Manager to see the card being listed as "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter". Attempting to update drivers results in Windows telling me that everything is already updated or that the selected drivers don't support my version of Windows, no matter how I go about my attempts.

I have tried installing many different drivers from AMD and Dell, but none of them have been successful. The only "compatible hardware" seen in device manager is the VGA Graphics Adapter.

I am running a fully updated version of Windows 7 x64. The motherboard is a Dell 0478VN, and has integrated Intel HD Graphics on it.

Anyone faced a similar issue and solved it? I've spent nearly a week now looking all over for a fix and have come up with nothing, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks, James.

I had a similar problem and got no help here from anyone. Maybe reading through my nightmare may give you something to try.
