On shutdown, display turns off but computer doesn't

When I shutdown my computer my display turns off, so I am guessing that my graphics card shuts down, but nothing else shuts down, and I am forced to manually shutdown. I have tried to clear CMOS, as I have had this problem before and fixed it for a while by reverting back to default BIOS settings because I had an overclock, but it has come back again.

    Maybe this is the problem?

When you cleared your CMOS, did the date go back to an older date? I have heard of ASUS having a bios bug causing that, but have found nothing on ASROCK. Do you have the latest BIOS version?

Yes I have an ASROCK mobo and the latest version. Not sure about that older date, but this problem was occurring even before the CMOS clear.

Reseat the 24 pin connector on your motherboard, and the video card power cables.

Haha, I think I may have found the problem. The 4 pin on the 24 pin connector wasn't plugged in
It must have come out somehow, I'll test to see if the problem still occurs, thanks for your help.

Was shutting down normally for the first few days, but the problem came back again.
