Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit

approx 20 minutes of research says -- you can't overclock this chip--you can try--but the results 'could' be similar to putting the laptop in a hot oven and then throwing it in the trash cause you would probably fry the motherboard

Windows 7 Pro 64 bit

Overclocking a laptop (or any OEM computer for that matter) is a BAD idea. Laptops lack just about everything necessary for safe and effective overclocking. One big problem is that overclocking generates more heat which laptops are poorly equipped to handle. Many run hot at stock speeds.

Manufacturers are well aware of this and omit the BIOS settings necessary for overclocking. This protects you from failures and them from the resulting warranty claims. While it may be possible to overclock a laptop the results are rarely satisfactory and the risks high.

Definitely not recommended.
