This .inf file and the rest following.. is it the same for me too? Or do I need to copy-paste my hardware ids too?
No. Mobile hardware ids are specific and can not (in most cases) be used by other users attempting the very same thing with same video adapter.

So since this .inf is here already, I can quickly edit it for you.

Right click standard vga in device manager. Properties. Details tab. Change dropdown to hardware ids. Copy and paste the results here.

Hi. Use this attachment and install like others did, with the latest desktop 191.07 driver.

You have to extract the download from NVIDIA then overwrite the N_DISP.inf with my attachment before you install as I instructed others.

"The Nvidia Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit."

That's what i get when i try to start the setup.exe manually.
When i want to update my drivers via device manager, my pc says something about there is no newer driver found then the current installed driver.

    Atze,
Perhaps the following site might be your answer:
NVIDIA Drivers and Tools of the LaptopVideo2Go

The modified nv_disp.inf file accompanies any version of the Nvidia graphic driver appears in their web side.

Any modified nv_disp.inf file would support most Nvidia graphic cards, both desktop and laptop, no matter what the cards are old or new.

Try to download any nv_disp.inf file and open it with notepad, and you will find your card
    listed there, for example:
Problem with nvidia geforce 9600m gs-snap1.jpg

After that, you can choose your favorite version of the Nvidia driver and install it.

Good luck, and enjoy your graphic card as well as enjoy the W7.

Can anyone help me? I'm so frustrated with sony. I will never buy one of their products again! Their cutomer support is horrible! Every time i contact them, it's some idiot just reading from the sony website, like I can't do that myself. Anyway, I want to update my driver on my vgn-z520n with 9300m gs to the latest driver. I've tried nvidia mobility modder, and that doesn't work. Here's my hardware IDs

    PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_06E5&SUBSYS_9025104D&REV_A1
    PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_06E5&SUBSYS_9025104D
