no.. its still the same monitor on the laptop...it didnt detect the display..
Your post is confusing as it's hard to understand what you're trying to do ...
You said you can't exceed full resolution -- of course! Why would you want to do that?
You said you removed the video driver -- why would you do that?
You said that windows is not detecting your display -- but of course it is, otherwise, you would have no display.
Your best bet, at this point, would be to go to the Acer site, download the video drivers for your model PC, and install those drivers.
