Video card not being detected?

    Despite what some apps claim, you can NOT repair damaged sectors with software. Modern hard drives keep spare sectors and will automatically do sector remapping, which doesn't fix the sectors, it replaces them. But, when the spares are used up, the drive is on its way out.

    As to why the laptop didn't detect the video card, no one knows what system code was contained in the bad sectors and, therefore, not executing.

    Yeah the problem was indeed the hdd being broken. Plugged my cousin's hdd into my laptop. (windows installed in 10 minutes), and even my vcard got detected . So ill buy a new hdd, and everything will be cool. Thanks for the help everyone :)
