    GTX460 1GB to GTX670 2GB?

I can get a second handed Gigabyte 670 2GB for fairly cheap.
    Is it a decent upgrade?

I know it's a bit foolish to ask.. But.. Any chance the GTX670 wouldn't be enough for GTA V?

My PSU is FSP 700W 80GHN. It shouldn't be a problem, right?

    Thanks.

That GPU will be a good improvement for you and should run GTA V no problem.

Can you actually say it will run GTA V on decent setting 1080P?
I ask because there are no publishes specs.
Its a bit stupid that I asked this question in the first place and now I doubt the asnwer, I know.. But maybe I just missed something.

    Thanks!

No doubt. GTA IV had a huge drawback to CPU optimization (GTA IV gets horsepower on your CPU)

I don't know about running it at 1080p, but it should run it. I didn't mean to be misleading.

Yeah I know about GTA IV and it's bad port.
But all these "next gen" talks.. I guess GTA V is going to have some sick graphincs for an open world, GTA, game.
It specs might be heavy as hell for my "new" card

No way of knowing yet, right?

    Thanks guys..

What about my PSU? It should support this card fine, right?
And is my I5-3470 still considered ok?

The i5 is good, your PSU is one of the models with several 12v rails if I searched the right one. So I am not sure on it. My main point is the 670 is a great improvement. Someone else better versed with your PSU should be along soon, but it looks like you should be good to me.

The GTX 670 is just a wee bit faster,

    AnandTech | Bench - GPU13

You can extrapolate from that that it should run GTA V that much better than your current card.

I guess.. It's just that this game might have so high end specs that this card wouldn't be able to handle so well. It is a from an old series.
But, I dont expect someone to predict the future. So I will take your answer :)

    Guys,

How much different are the Gigabyte GTX670 2GB WindForce 2X vs the 3X version?

I know there is a slight OC on the 3X version while the 2X doesnt.
Thats pretty much all I know.

I couldn't find noise, preformace or thermal comparisons.
