Windows 7: Install AGP Drivers for HD 3850, 3650, 2400 PRO

Win 7 Ultimate 64

Just a heads up. I was sifting through all the posts and couldnt find a solution that worked. So what I did was out of desperation but it worked

Specs are: Win7 Ultimate 64, MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum (NForce 3), Sapphire HD3650 AGP, 2G Ram

I loaded my 3650 drivers from the original CD as well as the 9.11 Hotfix (first address) from ATI. Completely installed the Hotfix and then drivers from my CD, went into device manager and updated display drivers.

Update Driver Software --> Browse My Computer For Driver Software --> Let Me Pick From A List --> Have Disk --> CD Drive --> Vista --> Packages --> Drivers --> Display --> LH6A_INF --> CH_57975 --> ATI Radeon HD 3650 AGP

Then I used the F8 Trick while windows was booting up then chose to ignore the signed drivers and everything works the same as it did when I had my XP.

I hope this helped a little bit for someone, persistence pays
Good luck everyone, btw I am no tech guru... I doubt I can help like the others on here but just giving everyone another shot.

Catalyst AGP Hotfix - Radeon HD 4000 Radeon HD 3000 and Radeon HD 2000 Series AGP

1) Install Hotfix
2) Install CD Drivers
3) F8 Thingy on Windows load up

If you try it, please would you give a feedback for me to understand if my problem is related to hardware or software.
Hi Stev67,
I now tried the drivers from Powercolor website but after restart I get: "ATI driver is not installed or is not functioning properly. Install the correct driver."

I even did it with the F8: Ignore signed drivers, and I installed the hotfix before.

Nothing works, any help is appreciated.
