Install AGP Drivers for HD 3850, 3650, 2400 PRO

I've downloaded the drivers from the HP site but these seem to be actually outdated in relation to those provided by the Windows Updater (v.1.0 - 2008 / v.2.0 - 2009), also they still don't have any drivers for Windows 7 but I think it should work with the Vista 32-bit version.

This was what I got though:


Doesn't seem to have installed correctly even though I uninstalled the previous ones and deleted the related files. I tried setting the compatibility to Windows Vista on the installer but the dropdown box on the properties is disabled :\

That looks fine to me.

Is it possible for me to run Windows 7 perfectly with this system?

No. That's an nForce2 board. It is almost guaranteed not to work because NVIDIA dropeed support long before Vista arrived. If there is any chance at all, it will be extremely tough to get going. Advice: Stick with XP.

Windows update, in the meantime and all by itself, found a driver it asked me to install. It actually works.... amazing, windows update working as it should. ('optional updates' had to be checked in order for this to work)

I Have a Ati Radeon 2400 Pro Agp , but i can't install it . I tried many things , but i don't make the 2400 work correctly . Torrentg i tried the way that you post , don't work . Have a tip to do that 2400 work with wddm ?

No tips. This driver install method already uses WDDM 1.1, the best you could have.

Which motherboard and are you getting error code 43?

I have the ATI Sapphire HD 3650 AGP 512MB DDR2. I have tried everything.

At first i had the pc running on vista, which worked great with the ati driver. But now i installed a windows 7 32 bit, and at first, it doesnt even do anything when i install the driver. Then i found a driver that did install everything, and it works great, however, when i start to do anything with the pc, it crashed, bluescreen, sometimes it repairs itselfe.

Then i folllowed your instructions on this topic, and for the first time, the pc actually says that i have a 3650 card. However, it still crashes. I really dont understand why, it gets more then enough power, the card works fine.

Could you help me?

That is my motherboard ( well my fathers really ) Im afraid thats gonne suck

And the only thing in device manager is an ethernet controller

But after i followed your topic, it does say with display adapters that i have a 3650:)
