Hi and thanks to torrentg for helping ppl like us who were having trouble with Radeon AGP cards.

I too have solved the driver installation based on torrentg's guide, but as I followed the thread, he no longer seems active. But if you are still around dude, I just want to say thanks!

Now, for those who are minding this thread, can I ask something with regards to my monitor? I'm still using an old old CRT monitor, and it has only 60/70hz selection for refreshes and can only select up to 1024x768. The issue I'm facing now is that the display isn't stable, meaning I get a lot of monitor refreshes and "No Signal" across my screen whenever I launch a game. I tested with my friend's CRT monitor that supports up to 95hz and found it to be totally stable.

My question is this: short of trading in my monitor (if the shops are still accepting it, that is ), what type of generic monitor driver can I use to stabilise the display? I've used up my budget to get myself a Sapphire HD 3450 AGP (it's expensive where I'm from), hence all I can do now is drool over LCD displays till Q4 this year.

    Thanks in advance!

ATI radeon HD 3650 on ASrock K7S8X

My ati radeon hd 3650 driver doesn't work in windows 7. It works fine in xp.
    Here are the hardware id's

    PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9598&SUBSYS_95981002&REV_00
    PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9598&SUBSYS_95981002
    PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9598&CC_030000
    PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9598&CC_0300

    I extracted C:\ATI\Support\10-1_agp-hotfix_vista_win7_32_dd_ccc

I tried to install the graphic card by slecting C:\ATI\Support\10-1_agp-hotfix_vista_win7_32_dd_ccc\Packages\Drivers\Display\W7_INF\CL_94920.inf , but it doens't work.
Is it possible to make me a .inf file.

    Sorry for my bad english.

Problem is solved. I used the free software drivermax. I got a list of drivers I needed to update (with the free program only 2 drivers a day). The program downloaded and installed the new drivers. One for the ATI Radeon HD 3650 and one for SIS processor for AGP controller.
Now everyhting works fine on my old pc. A dual boot XP and windows 7.

Hi, Just about to go thru the thread in full for my Sapphire HD2600Pro 512Mb AGP card. My card works fine except for using Aero themes which generate a small corruption on the display around the Windows Titles bar, Wallpaper picture and Windows icon. I have ASUS mobo, Win 7 ultimate 32bit. I have already installed version 10.2 of the driver from Sapphire and all is fine except for the above issue.

When I use the suggestions in the thread do I need to install Catalyst 9.11 of the driver for it to possibly succeed or will it work quite happily in 10.2? Thanks

Actually some will still need to try what is in this thread. The reason being is that it all comes down to whether there is a working AGP/GART driver for their motherboard, without that all the hacks/mods/etc in the world won't get the ATI driver to install and/or work properly.

    PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_791F&SUBSYS_3FB71462&REV_00
    PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_791F&SUBSYS_3FB71462
    PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_791F&CC_030000
    PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_791F&CC_0300

I'm try with CL_91526.rar. Nothing change.

Instructions for installing ATI HD 2400 PRO AGP, ATI HD 3850 AGP, ATI HD 3650 AGP, ATI HD 3450 AGP, ATI HD 4650 AGP, ATI HD 2600 PRO AGP

    ALL MODELS x86 32-bit WDDM 1.1:

    1) Download the Catalyst 9.11 32-bit driver Suite for Windows 7 from here - Drivers & Support | GAME.AMD.COM - Click on
    ATI Radeon™ Video Card Drivers

    2) Extract the driver folder by running the .exe you downloaded. It will extract to C:\ATI

    3) Close installer after extraction. No longer necessary. Do not continue with install here.

    4) Download my attachment (CL_91526.rar) and extract the .inf file from it. Save to desktop or anywhere you want.

    5) Copy and paste the CL_91526.inf you just extracted directly overwriting the original at this location - C:\ATI\Support\9-11_vista32_win7_32_dd_ccc_wdm_enu\Driver\Packages\Drivers\Display\W7_INF

    6) Go to device manager and right click on your video card. (Standard VGA or otherwise.) Update driver software, browse my computer, let me pick, have disk, browse.

    7) Navigate to C:\ATI\Support\9-11_vista32_win7_32_dd_ccc_wdm_enu\Driver\Packages\Drivers\Display\W7_INF

    8) Click (or double click) on the CL_91526.inf

    9) Click ok, then click next and let it install. If it complains that it is not signed, click the part to let it install anyway.

    10) Reboot if necessary. Pick an Aero theme by right clicking on desktop, Personalize. (If you previously had a working driver from ATI's site installed, you may skip this step.)

    11) Run setup.exe in C:\ATI\Support\9-11_vista32_win7_32_dd_ccc_wdm_enu\Driver\
and let it complete to install the CCC, should you want the functionality. Custom mode is best used here instead of express mode, when it asks.

    12) Install ATI Tray Tools (attsetup.rar in my attachments) if you wish to overclock. Ensure adequate cooling. Disclaimer - Should you choose to overclock, responsibility falls entirely on you.

    13) Update your WEI score. Start menu | right click Computer | Properties | click Windows Experience Index

If you have a different AGP card, let me know. I will make you a custom .inf.
    Enjoy.
help! please got Blue Screen after installing this. and after several tries

Navigate to c:/windows/minidump and zip up your .dmp file...attach it to your next post for analysis...
