Video Issues with 2 monitors - horizontal line with lag...
OK... I have Windows 7 Premium 64-bit and a SAPPHIRE HD 7970 3GB GDDR5 OC with Boost video card installed. When I have 1 cable on the back of the video card connected to a monitor, all is well. When I connect 2 is when the issue shows itself. I currently have my television as a 2nd monitor via HDMI cable. My computer's main monitor is connected via DVI cable. I've tried other cables (same type and display port), to no avail. When I attempt to watch a movie from my computer to my TV, I get a horizontal line in the video with a VERY slight lag between the two sides. When I disconnect my main monitor, the line disappears on the TV. The line is not on the main monitor, just the TV. I've even tried different TVs... same problem. I believe it's something within Windows 7 because I've had this same issue with other video cards. I've tried uninstalling the video drivers and using windows drivers instead, but issue remains. If you make the video screen smaller so you can still see the desktop and click on the box to drag it along the horizontal line, part of the box that intersects the line slightly drags behind the rest of the box. I've even tried disabling Aero.
I know I rambled trying to explain my issue... but I hope someone reading it can identify this problem and help with a solution.
