Graphics Card spinning but no signal to the monitor

    Graphics Card spinning but no signal to the monitor


    Earlier today I replaced my RAM and GCU, everything was working fine before I tried installing these new things. Like I said the Graphics Card fans spin but there is no signal, idk what to do? no DGI

    There could be a number of things but a question to ask, did you unplug the power cord from the back of the computer then press the power button [Off|On switch] before changing the parts? Doing so drains residual power from the motherboard which in turn helps prevent electrical damage to the parts and/or motherboard. I can assure folks that such damage can occur, learned that several years ago at SofHK.

    Make sure the video card is seated all the way and so is the video card power adapter(s).
    Remove the card, put it back in all the way, do the same with the power adapters.
