    Just looks black to me .. Try it with the Monitor if that works would rule out the Graphics .. You will need to see to that fan also ..

    With the monitor it works flawlessly. The display its a hit and miss. Yesterday it was working today it gives up... The fan isn't a problem to what I know since this laptop used to work well even with the nearly broken fan

    Looks like you have some sort of a problem with the LCD or the back light ... You have removed the Ac Adapter and the Battery and press and hold the power button for at least 30 seconds ? ...

    Maybe it's a ripped screen cord?

    I have the inside a massive clean out and now it looks like its working. looks like it was the fan or something. by the way thanks everyone who helped :)

    Oh yea and also if this happens to anyone clean it out then take the display cover thing (the one that says dell) an make sure the display wire isn't squashed
