Display does not fit monitor.

My display does'nt fit my monitor. The display is too big plus when i move my cursor down the display doesnt scroll down it stays the same. I cant see my taskbar.

Here's a screen shot via print screen:

Here's a screen shot of what i can see from the monitor:

I have re-installed windows but still no changes even when I start up at the bios i get this problem

Changing the resolution doesn't really help either

Have you tried dragging the edges of the window to the edges of the monitor?

Right-click a blank area of your desktop and bring up your graphics card settings and adjust resolution to fit the monitor (or do it through Windows Personalisation from the right-click or in Control Panel)....the instructions for the monitor must state what the default resolution is.

Setting up a multi-monitor display w/ a 20" HP monitor and a 32" LG TV

When I cleaned out my PC, I noticed that my card has an HDMI port so something came into my mind; and after 2 weeks, I decided to use my TV for a larger monitor and it works fine. In...

display/monitor 1024×768 display size
the display/monitor uses the generic driver for display and it is 1024×768 or 800x600 but it looks very odd it should be bigger because my screen is bigger. I have a acer monitor but is there something I can download to fix the display size?
