Trouble installing MSI NX8800GTS, Win 7 Pro x64 will not recognize.

    Ok, so here's the specs:

    Intel Core i3-3240 CPU @3.4GHz, 3400 Mhz
    h-Joshua-h61 uATX board
Corsair Enthusiast Series TX 750 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS
    Windows 7 Pro x64

This is a fresh installation of Windows 7 Pro on what was originally a Windows 8 based machine. I've run Slim Drivers and updated all the drivers, nothing shows in Device Manager as not installed.

After updating all the drivers and testing everything I install the MSI NX8800GTS, connect the Pci-e 6 pin to the GPU. I power on the machine and it boots into windows. I check device manager, nothing. I run the driver installation package downloaded from: http://download.msi.com/dvr_exe/NVID...n7_Vista64.zip

Installation package says it cannot find the device. GPU fan is active. Checked Bios for an option to disable onboard video, none found.

Any more info, please let me know
    Any help, much appreciated.

Have you tried the driver from the NVIDIA's website? I have an 8400 GS running on Windows 7 and it runs fine.

I have tried several drivers and none of them would install as they said they could not find compatible hardware. The funny thing is, when I plug the gpu in and change a couple bios settings (enabling virtualization) and disabling slot security, then the onboard video won't work and neither will the card still.

No matter what I try, the card is not recognized by windows, or bios as far as I can tell. Then again, the bios on this thing are minimal at best.

Thats the weird thing. I installed an Nvidia GeForce 9600gso and it has worked just fine. But I installed the nx8800 in another computer, and it works in the other computer. I'm stumped.
