Why I plugged the vga into the motherboard it work for a little but then the screen went black. My graphics card works because when I turn on my pc my graphics fan spins. I plugged the graphics card into another port it ended up working it started to install the drivers after that it said my computer needed to restart but after it restarted same thing the screen was black and light on my monitor was amber

hi so did you remove the video card when hooking it to the vga on motherboard? just because the fan spins on the card doesn't mean it still works just telling you the fan is getting power.
