I have a nVidia 460 and 770 cards and I installed the M/S Update for the driver on both computers without any problems.
    I had 340.52
    I got now 347.52

I know that the driver is not the newest driver that nVidia has but they are the newest nVidia drivers that Microsoft has test to work well with Windows 7.
I have been using Windows Update recommended video drivers for about a year and have had no problems.
