Geforce 8400 GS Blue Vertical Lines.

Okay, I bought a Geforce 8400 GS for a old gaming pc, anyway after a week of use, I got blue thick vertical lines on me screen, its nothing to do with the drivers, because the lines show in the BIOS. I have done the "baking" trick where you put your GFX card in the oven and cook it for 8 minutes and set the temperature for 385 F. Anyway it fixed it for about 13 hours and then it started again. I also removed the fan after all of that happend, and I'm hoping a new fan will fix it. -Sam :)

Okay, the reason I wanted this card is that I wanted to use it for older games such as Half-Life 2, Half-Life.

And I'm looking for a 512MB model, same as the one I have now

Is this good?

EVGA 01G-P3-1302-RX GeForce 8400 GS 1GB 64-Bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Ready Video Card Factory Refurbished - Newegg.com

Its cheaper than the other one, but isn't 520MHz really slow for older games.

Vertical red lines across LCD display
Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this LCD screen? It's a 28" screen that is out of warranty. Sometimes it shows 3, sometimes 2 vertical red lines. Here's a picture I just took (sorry for the dust): http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s99/dc2000_bucket/IMG_1925_zpskqxt89vz.jpg
