I bought the 660 a year and a half ago but it seems outdated already as I cant even achieve 60fps on medium settings.
The 960 isnt much of an improvement for the price, the 970 seems pretty good but its become a bit of joke card with the 3.5GB controversy.
What's your budget? What's your power supply? How big a card will your case allow? All this is pertinent information we'd need to know to even begin to advise on a card. Take a read through this then post up the relevant information.

Probably best to add your PSU to your specs as it's not listed, and what make of PSU is it? That matters a great deal. You still haven't mentioned a budget either.
Budget is around the 970 price range, which is different depending where you live but the 970 is around $450 here and the 980 is $650+.

The 970 wouldn't be a bad upgrade. Here are the specs to take into account for a reference card:You're just scraping in with the PSU although I've no experience with Cooler Master PSUs (I always recommend Corsair PSUs and Seasonic are excellent too) so looking at an aftermarket version may be a step too far. Stick to the reference card and you should be OK. The length looks OK as well (10.5" = 266mm) so it will physically fit with no problem.
It is worth paying extra for the overclocked versions?
It probably would, but you've got to keep an eye on the power requirements. You're close to the limits on a reference card so a factory overclocked card may take it just a bit too far. Did you read the tutorial I linked?
yep, I did have a reference for how much power each part took up I think there is a calculator on the net. If I have to upgrade my psu its not a huge deal as I've had this one for a while now its the oldest part still left in my computer.
Any particular brand? I was looking at the GTX 970 Asus STRIX version, there is also the gigabyte gaming G1 and a MSI version
I'll take a look at brands later. If you're upgrading your PSU then make it Corsair or Seasonic.
