Strange red trail behind mouse cursor.

Hi, I currently am using an HDTV as my main monitor with a YcbCr 4:4:4 Pixel format, and whenever my mouse cursor moves, there is a strange small red outline and trail behind it. This happens with the default cursor as well as installed ones. I changed the pixel format to RGB 4:4:4 PC Standard which solved the problem, but made my windows too bright and my games looking slightly cloudy. I also have two ASUS VE198T monitors (I believe that is the model) and they do not have the cursor problem, however I think that they too use the RGB 4:4:4 PC Standard. Do I have to just keep it on RGB 4:4:4 PC Standard or is there a way to fix this?

    Thanks

Could you please just describe how you have the HDTV connected to the PC ?

the RGB setting is ideal for HDMI, it solves a lot of problems with display issues, i found that my YPBPR settings are turning my monitor purple, to fix the brightness issues, you'll have to turn your TV's "game mode" on, which gives a true representation of the pixels hitting the panel rather than the post processing effects that you're seeing, it should increase response times as well.
