    Lenovo h530 upgrade

Hello I'm considering buying a new lenovo h530 and upgrading the graphics card to a gtx 750 ti. Is this possible? It has 110v. Can I upgrade it to 300v? Can it play call of duty? It already comes with a core i3 and 6 gigs of ram. It comes with a really good price that I cannot pay for a gaming pc. Thanks for replies in advance.

Nothing in the USA uses 300v but maybe you mean 300Watts? You might be able to find an aftermarket 300Watt or larger power supply but I'd first check whether a larger power supply is available from Lenovo. The red switch on the back of a computer is to choose between 110VAC or 220VAC, most houses have 220VAC available for larger power draw items such as heating, air conditioning, cooking stoves, etc.

In classic OEM style the interior isn't shown in the pictures, the PSU spec's aren't listed and the GPU available length isn't shown. I wouldn't gamble on the card fitting or the PSU being up to the task without getting more information and where you'll find that is going to take some effort on your part.

Oh, looks like it can't handle the gtx. Thanks anyways!

Do you recommend the gt 635 for cal lof duty games?

Logo8997, I'm not saying you can't replace the graphics card with another one, but it's a leap of faith because Lenovo like most all others spec just large enough PSU's and in this case they don't mention its size much less it's rail capacity. Then the major issue is the size for fitting another GPU in. Are they using a compact GPU or full size as no measurement is given these would be good questions for Lenovo......if anyone you'd likely speak with would even have this information or know how to access it.

    On http://shop.lenovo.com/gb/en/desktop...tab-tech_specs is this statement:
"Product is no longer available on lenovo.com"
Looks like you'd have to look for it in Retail stores/sites. It's quite possible Lenovo has shipped all they had which left none in their own store.
