    Graphic cards ... ideas pls

Im thinking of buying a new graphics card soon.

Which would you think would be a good one for this desktop and future desktop that im planning to build. The future build will be maybe 3790k cpu.

This desktop hasn't got the best specs.

I would like to buy a card for gaming at highest settings.

I have about £200 at the moment .... thats about $309

    I am saving.

Im aware of the fact that it depends on the game too. Each requires different needs to play at high settings.

But which maybe would be a top end card to get?

Any 980 made by EVGA :)

    EVGA - Products - Graphics - GeForce 900 Series Family - GTX 980

For that amount you`d be able to get something in the 960 range.

    This would be nice.

    Hi,
I doubt your cpu means much although good one,
But your psu is more the minimum requirement on most cards.

You could save a little more and get a 970.

Or you could join the darkside and wait for the new Radeon card.

But that also depends on your monitor, I bought a monitor with the G-Sync and now I'm stuck indefinitely with the Nvidia family.

    My monitor is:

    E2250SWDA AOC Monitor - AOC

Not sure about the g sync thing.

    Why are you stuck Boris?
