    How can i try that adapter alone it needs to be plugged in with my LCD 2nd monitor

    Did you check refresh rates (in advanced settings) and screen resolution options? Do they work in safe mode?

    What's the resolution of the displays?

    Yeh i tried 60 and 75 also tried a few res within monitors specs. Hmm not sure!

    I got it working for like 10 minutes, but when i reset my PC it started up again i had to unplug it.

    I decided to go with my HDMI cable. I can fit in my main software window and just about my other thing too. It will do infact its good lol

    But why does my 2nd monitor turn off when i select another resolution apart from recommended?

    No clue.

    Do you have "Hide modes this monitor can not display" checked, or is it greyed out ?
