3rd monitor setup GTX 780

I have 1 monitor setup already, the jetmax CDU or the FMS from the 737, its basically a little screen. and its connected with a VGA to my PC with my DVI-I connector.

today i received my DVI-D connector to connect my 3rd monitor LCD screen 12.1 but when i connect my 3rd monitor up nothing is turning on or getting recognised in DISPLAY, SCREEN RESOLUTION ?

am i missing something?

i'm using windows 7 and my GPU is a GTX780

Get your main monitor up and running as your primary monitor, then go from there, adding the others.

I have my MAIN monitor and 2 monitors i'm wanting to connect up to my PC. My DVI I port is working fine, i've tried both monitors on this port and they work fine. Its just my DVI D port thats not working?

Basically i'm wanting 1 monitor plugged into my DVI I port and then my 2nd monitor plugged into the DVI D port. But like i said, the DVI D port isn't working i get a blue screen.

Are you sure the cable is working? Try it on DVI-I port and other monitor. (DVI-I and DVI-D are compatible, D is digital only while I is digital or analog.)

Sometimes a connector has a certain direction, and doesn't if you connect it the other way around. Do you have a link to that?

If you think you have a bad port, setup an RMA with the manufacturer, and Good Luck :)

But a DVI-D cable only sends out a digital signal, so I don`t think it will work on the vga monitor.

What is the difference between DVI-I and DVI-D?

All you should need is a DVI-I to vga dongle, then you can use your vga cable. It`s explained in the link, hope it helps. :)
