When are Nvidia 300 series card coming?

ATI is going to gain market share with the 5000 series cards. Nvidia can't let this happen. I assume they know this. The 300 series card have to be coming soon. I have been waiting for them since I have never used an ATI card, however I am thinking of getting a 5850. Does anyone know how long we have to wait for the 300 series cards? Thanks.

Thanks Skunk, I don't know why I could not find this. I didn't know the new card were the "Fermi" cards. I thought that was something else. Thanks. I will wait as long as I can.

That 5850 is calling my name, but i have a feeling Nvidia will not let us down.

I would sure like to know how they will compare with the 5000s and if they will have a range of models liek ATI released....

    i know the feeling mate.

i feel ATIs 5870 with ''Eyefinity'' pulling at my pocket.... but like you NV has always been my weapon of choice, so i'll hang on , hopefully benches will be out before Christmas...... just to wet our taste-buds

I am looking forward to seeing some benches on these. i hope they will compete. Should be interesting

I have also heard a lot of catalyst driver complaints. There is one or two on this page right now. I have heard a lot of problems. This also makes me want to stick with Nvidia.

    Thanks again Skunksmash

where have i heard that before....

the only thing that will push me into a HD5000 purchase will be the GT300 prices, if NV dont learn from their mistakes they're gonna loose thousands of customers to ATIs new line up, driver issues or not...

so cmon TEAM GREEN bring us GT300 at a reasonable price & you'll make a killing..

I hate to be a naysayer, but I expect the 300 series to get pushed back even further. Q1 2010 is extremely ambitious given TSMC's apparent troubles perfecting their 40nm process. Current yields are at only ~40%. This means not only further delays outside of Nvidia's control, but also continued supply shortages of ATI's 5800 series.

Realistically, I'd look for the 300 series to be available sometime in Q2.
