Windows 7: while i installing ati drivers my screen goes black

atikmpag.sys is the ATI driver. Try the one from your laptop vendor's support page.

I know and i done everything to solve this problem like:expanding atikmpag.sys,uninstall and reinstall latest drivers,REINSTALLING WINDOWS,check disk,Trying the one from laptop vendor's support page........but it didn't solved

I could be wrong but I think this is the manufacturers driver you need Desktop

That's the link I posted back in post #2.
Since that's not working - maybe graphics card is bad.

It certainly sounds like it if the problem persists even after a clean install of Windows.

Now I am presuming again because I cannot find any reference to the HP modelnumber just the board which could be out of any machine but this could be worthtrying HP G62-143CL Notebook PC Drivers and Downloads | HP® Support and use their finder.

Try un-plug PC from power for a minute or two, and loading defaults in BIOS (either first screen or exit menu).
