dual monitor text is different sizes between screens

    hi all

I am running a Ati Mobility radeon Hd 4530

I can't get the text to be the same size on both monitors. I use to be able to with vista ( they just where)

I am using a java based application with alot of text (only allowed on set of the text) The size difference is like this ---- on monitor this size ---- the other this size.

I have tried mucking around with the resolution it makes the situation worse.

    cheers in advance

I am looking forward for an answer too.
Using a laptop with Windows 7 Pro and configured 125% sizing on laptopscreen. But I do not want 125% on my second monitor! How can I change that behavior independent?

Windows 7, quite incredibly, has absolutely nothing in the way of tools for managing multiple monitors - in fact, if you have more than one screen then some features (like snap) will immediately also malfunction.

Your only hope of sorting your situations is to rely on your graphics suite software, or otherwise specifically obtain dual/multi-monitor software.

Aero Snap does not malfunction in dual screen systems. It just works differently.

    • Snap to top of display = as in single display system
    • Snap to the right in right display = as in single display system
    • Snap to the left in left display = as in single display system
    • To snap a window in the right display to the left: press Win-key + left arrow. Now the next win + left snaps the window to the right in left display
    • To snap a window in the left display to the right: press Win-key + right arrow. Now the next win + right snaps the window to the left in right display

A bit confusing but easy to do and remember when you give it a try.

Aero snap does not work at all on the dual-monitors I'm using, sorry - but I can only speak as I find Windows 7 to actually behave.

This doesn't negate the fact Microsoft still haven't implemented anything as regards multiple monitor management (although they've spent enormous sums on failed attempts to build in voice recognition and control to their recent OS projects...)

Strange. I use dual and triple displays and Snap works just fine.

True. And I also find the native multi-monitor management excellent without need for CCC or NVDIA Control Panel whatsoever.

I want to know if this is possible as well.
