Well.. The error stopped showing up, but now my games are freezing right after loading is done (any game)..

I have to push the reset button.

Try updating the chipset drivers and see if there's a bios update for the motherboard.

I can see its the same motherboard as I use, but DDR3 instead of DDR2.

    EDIT: Dosen't work with x64.

Use the automated detection in this page if you're unsure.

The utility found no new BIOS versions.
I don't think thats right, after all I got "Service not started" and some other random error when I ran it.

I got the same problem, even bought a new graphics card but no luck. At least I could play the game a bit longer.

Unfortunately I have the same issue and every thread I find on this forum ends the same way, with the user with the issue not having that issue resolved. Why doesn't Microsoft just fix the issue.

    Socket A 32bit AGP ATi 4670

Me three - I am waiting patiently till it's 'Silently' fixed by ATi/Msoft!

The new ATi Card drivers Catalyst10.2 have reduced the screen/crashes to only a few a day now.
Happens when I scroll pages quickly with mouse (most of the time).

Previously display driver would crash/recover on its own (have a suspicion it's some 'service' firing up and causing it)
