It would certainly appear that it is an issue with i5's and HD 5750/70's
Try installing the latest Beta drivers, or if that doesn't work, you could contact the ATI technical support, or the tech support for where ever you brought the card from.

Can you uninstall them, use driver sweeper and then try the default 7 drivers?

Boshajones, I recently built a system for a friend with the same card and Win7 64bit and it has constantly been freezing and locking up for no reason. It is not a hardware, heat or power issue and if you have a look at this forum and you'll see that there are a lot of people in your boat:

I encountered the same problem for 21days before returning the card to Newegg.com. I tried everything, read the AMD forums, asked for help here etc. The only thing that seem to work was RMA the card and get a new one. It seems to be working so far (touches wood). I did not install the CCC, just the video driver, I am using 9.10.

So... I've read that a few people have actually solved this issue by setting the power option to never put computer to sleep.

Not sure if this 'solution' holds any water though... Just tryin' to help.

That's because the issue, as I've been saying, is most likely related to other drivers on the system and not the video card driver itself.

    Hi everyone

Been having the same problem and I'm beginning to get frustrated. I tried updating the chipset driver and used the 9.11 driver. My system crashed 3 times and im doing nothing it's just idle. I will try to use the driver sweeper and see how it goes.
