    Geforce 9600 GT Overclocked.

    Ok. so i just replaced a failing 8500 with a 9600GT(Pre Overclocked.)
Out of curiosity i re ran the windows assessment tool.
Aero graphics went from 5.1 to 7.9 =
Gaming Graphics went from 4.3 to 2.0 =
What the hell gives with that?
Im running windows 7 build 7022 by the way.

I have the same problem. I replaced my 8500Gt with the 9500GT and got the same assesment readings. Windows 7 Ultimate. Go figure.

have you benched it yet..?? 3dmark06

how does it perform..??, are you seeing improvement..??

if so i wouldn't worry about the WEI, its sporadic at best.

if your new cards performance is worse.. then there's a problem.

    what drivers are you running..

    Hi Skunkmarsh,

No the performance isn't worse but it doesn't seem to be a great improvement over the GT8500. I'm using the latest drivers (Aug 2009).

    How do I benchmark it?

    Thanks for replying.

Try RIVA tuner or something like that. Don't worry WEI is really irritating me too - 7GB (mixed) = 5.5, 4 GB (800) = 5.5.

I get 6.7 for both the VGA tests - 8800 GTS. I don't game so it's not that important for me. I have xbox for that. LOL.

If you need more help with VGA drivers - check your PM - I have sent you some other info.

Forget WEI... Once you are satisfied with the performance of your box, it's all good.

+1 .. This is a perfect example of spending money uselessly just to get a better score on their WEI ... maybe he can recoup some of that money on e-bay... +rep
