Welcome to seven forums andyparks: Glad you got it figured out. I clicked the red triangle and reported it as resolved. For future reference. Fabe

    which driver

I too have this on board graphics and am having trouble with it. It seems that if I install either the drivers from Microsoft, NVIDIA or from the HP web site after the install I get a bunch of Event ID 243 Desktop Heap Allocation Failure errors logged.I have been getting these errors since installing Windows 7 but with an older driver they occur much less often. Is there a Graphics card that I can install in a Express x16 slot that would not overload a 250 watt power supply. Seems as though HP provided expansion slots without the power available to use them.

Yes. 250W power supply is weak and is likely causing your errors.
