If I had a choice, I wouldn't use Nvidia GeForce Experience, but that's just me.

Like Thrashzone said, just uninstall and reinstall the old driver with a clean install.

Thank you Mellon Head & ThrashZone ....

    Thank you .

I have 2 things to say regarding this matter

.Firstly, the method Thrashzone suggested (Although very helpful & good) is not through Gforce Experience.I asked,if i could do it via Gforce Experience.Since i am the kind of guy (Lazy perhaps :) ) who do not wish to do things in length and possibly screw some file up by deleting it or similar.I wish to do things easily (Like in a click of button , like what Gforce Experience does) But that's just me..

Secondly, can't i just go to the Properties of The device manager via My Computer & select ROLL BACK Drivers ...Although it does looks risky..

If only i could use Gforce Experience to simple Roll Back to the previous driver in simple 2 or 3 steps , just the way i do a clean install in Gforce Experience , which is like 1 2 3 & that's it ..In like 10 or 7 minutes , everything gets done via Gforce Experience ....

No not that I know of I too do not have GE installed it's pure bloatware
I install if I have to activate/ download a game and that's it

    You can ask NVidia :/
Also if you don't want beta drivers unselect that option in GE settings and only use verified or whatever the term is
fwiw I have 358.50 installed working okay so far
I had 355.82 up until today

There was a story or report if one wants first day drivers you'd have to use GE
I say so what who wants first day buggy drivers anyway
    Good luck
    Cheers.

    :)

I do not install Beta Drivers.I always install the proper Fully Developed , Released Drivers via Gforce Expeerience.
The thing is, my experience with updates via Gforce Experience has been fantastic.Reason being, the games that i was playing on just HIGH Settings & wanting/wishing to play em on MAX.It wasn't achievable until i reluctantly decided to Update all of the THINGS Gforce Experience had ASKING me to do (WHICH I WAS IGNORING,THINKING WHY BOTHER & cause issues such as CRASHES or BUGS in my graphics card)..

So,one day i was surprised to see that i couldn't save any setting in My Nvidia Control Panel. After much search .i found out that i couldn't fix it whatsoever.

Then before taking my RIG to the Shop where i bought it from.I said to myself, wait a minute. Those updates Gforce Keeps asking me.Why now i accept em and install em.What's the worse thing that could happen.Even if something did , i would take my system to the Shop guy anyways. So,i installed the Updates (Game Ready Drivers and Video Drivers).I did everything neatly , by doing a clean install. It took about 7 or 8 minutes. And then, the problem was solved.I could save my settings in Nvidia Control Panel again. Moreover,i was able to play some GRAPHICALLY CHALLENGING games (such as Assassins' Creed Unity) on MAX...It was playing like butter on TXAA Anti Aliasing ...

So, you see.Now again i am seeing notifications of latest Driver and game ready updates in my Nvidia Gforce Experience :) and the temptation makes me just , wanna DO IT ...DO IT ...

But then i get worried , if the latest Driver may cause issues (as many people in forums say , usually users who are running Windows 10.And i am running Windows 7 which seems safe for me , i guess) ...

That is why i am asking for a REASSURANCE in a way. That if i got in to problems , can i roll back.BUT ONLY Via Gforce Experience ,,,

This is like gamble & so far i am not loosing any money :) The Gforce Experience Updates are just too tempting to miss or ignore.Trust me...

    :)

    Hi,
You want the above driver another member here had the same issues settings would not stick

If GE wasn't installed you wouldn't be messed with to update your drivers

If you remove the current driver installed. you can get the rolled back version from the NVidia website to roll it back .

I personally don`t use GE to install the driver, I download it myself and do a custom clean install.

This way I know right where the install files are so I can delete them, no hunting necessary.

Along with Mike I`ve stayed at 355.82, never had an issue with them yet. 358.91 is downloaded and image made, just unwilling to give them a shot
