I've had some experience fixing circuits but I agree with both of you. For now I'll live with the temporary fix of unplugging it and replugging it whenever I turn on my computer I'll see if I can get a nice monitor on sale to replace it. Before I trash it I will take it apart (it will not be plugged in and I will not plug it back in once I take it apart) to see if I could identify why it was buggy just out of curiosity and if I do identify the issue i'll post it here as an official solution in case anyone has a similar issue in the future.
